Dr. Kaplan is one of the most renowned ED leaders in America. Dr. Kaplan aims to empower hospitals to improve their culture and patient experience. Dr. Kaplan was named American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Outstanding Speaker of the Year award in 2003 and 2007 and is currently the President-Elect of the ACEP. LIZ GOLDSTEIN, PhD & LIZ FLOW-DELWICHE, PROJECT OFFICER
Dr. Goldstein has been involved with the CMS extensively. Before her current position, she was the Division Director of Beneficiary Analysis, Member of the Division of Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Surveys, and Director of Division of Consumer Assesment of Healthcare. She also sits on the board of Academy Health and Academy for Health Services Research & Health Policy. Dr. Goldstein completed her PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
